Happy Eid!

Assalamu'alaikum to all my dear sisters and brothers.

I'm aware that this is very much overdue but it's better late than never, since it has been quite hectic for me since the last few weeks with the starting of the new academic term, eid celebrations, new juniors coming, home spring clean etc etc.

Alhamdulillah...Ramadhan that has passed has taught me so many lessons. Things that I initially presumed would be difficult turned out to be rather tolerable and Allah has made it easy for me alhamdulillah. For instance, I thought I would barely survive the long hour of fasting during summer time plus with the studies and revision as well as the stress and pressure that I had to cope to sit for exams in mid August. It's not been perfect for I haven't been anywhere near perfect but I'm delighted and motivated to fast and do good things during last Ramadhan. So I must say it has been a great Ramadhan for me this year despite all the unpleasant things happened around me.

I tend to have mixed feelings at the end of Ramadhan, sad that I had to bid adieu Ramadhan..the month full of mercy by Allah, but at the same time happy for the reward to celebrate Eid with family and friends, and had passed the trial month.

Anyways, Happy Eid to all Muslims around the world! ^_^ Don't forget to do the complementary ibadah: fast 6 days in Syawal!

"He who fasts in the month of Ramadhan followed by 6 days in Syawal, it is as if he has fasted for a year." (Hadeeth Muslim)

ramadhan kareem

A test of endurance
A time of patience
controlling emotions, needs and desires
A mean of appreciation
and give thanks for pleasures
A perfect time to engage in introspection
take a closer look at our feelings, thoughts and actions
Giving up bad habits:
smoking, wasting time, oversleeping
And indulge in good habits:
help the needy and give charity
hold iftar for others
dress appropriately
be considerate
respect those who fast
do good unto others
watch our words
read al-Qur'an
pray and make duaa from Allah
to better ourselves insyaAllah..

Let's soak up the spirit of ramadhan! ^_^

may Allah accept all our tawbahs, duaas, fasting and good deeds insyaAllah...
may He surrounds us with light and happiness, and put light into our hearts and every vessel through our body..ameen.

Ramadhan best wishes

Assalamu'alaikum dear readers,

All Muslims fast from sunrise until sunset every year in the month of Ramadan, abstaining from food and drink as well as any actions that will break the fast. Those who are sick, elderly, or on a journey, and women who are pregnant or nursing are exempted to break the fast and must make up an equal number of days later in the year. If they are physically unable to do this, they must feed a needy person for every day they missed. The fasting during Ramadan is regarded principally as a method of self purification. By cutting oneself off from worldly comforts, even for a short time, a fasting person gains true sympathy with those who go hungry as well as growth in one's spiritual life.

l wish to all muslims around the world a blissful Ramadan Mubarak!

May Allah accept our fasts and prayers throughout this blessed month, grant us His mercy of our sins and protect us from any harm.

I would also like to take this opportunity to ask for your forgiveness if I have wronged you in any way. May we be in each others company in the best of state in the hereafter insyaAllah. Love you sisters for the sake of Allah ♥

Now...let's make this Ramadan better than last year!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha!!

Cepat sungguh masa berlalu.

Maka fikirkanlah apa pendapatmu.” Anaknya menjawab, “Wahai ayahku!

( Hadis riwayat Ibnu Hibban )

Eid Mubarak!

Indeed, it's been a while i havent post any entry here..sorry bout that. yup juz like all of u celebrating eid, i was so busy preparing for the celebration (but not really cook like our chef catarina..hehehh i'm juz helping around) plus the freshers are coming so need more helping hands to cater them.

Happy..Excited..Blessed and all those positive expressions can be seen thru most of us during eid but some may experience a bit gloomy and sad if they werent with their loved ones..huuhhuu

As for me, i've had bits of both feelings. A bit sad as Ramadhan is over and obviously i'm away from my beloved family. Anyway, i'm glad to have many friends that will cheer me up during eid and insyaAllah for the rest of the year. Thanks to all of u and special dedication to catarina as well, may our ukhuwwah last forever insyaAllah.

May the guidance and blessings of Allah be with you and your family!

Have a great eid mubarak everyone! ~smile~

Welcome aboard!

Salam to all!

In search of Allah's love, many have done good deeds towards others in so many kinds of ways for the cause of Allah. I noticed that nowadays people are so into blogging either on a part-time or full-time basis and it has become a trend for youngsters to have one which has made the author to realise about the great way of serving others through writings.

So here goes this blog, may it serves the purpose of giving benefits towards others. Do enjoy it and leave comments where necessary. The author is still in the learning process of refining her style of writing in English.

May Allah bless all of us Insha'Allah...
