"The month of Ramadan has come to you; a month of goodness and blessing."
Day one already over. It went well and wasn't difficult for me alhamdulillah. I even had a nice 'Nasi Kerabu' (a Malaysian cuisine; nasi means rice while kerabu means vegetable mixture) during iftar (breaking the fast after sunset). This would be a beautiful start to a beautiful month insyaAllah. Ramadhan Kareem all round to all of us! ^_^
Though fasting may look a bit difficult especially towards the end of the day, it somehow gives a new perspective and have made me realised of how lucky we are and there are people out there that are much worse off. Just put it in your mind; this is how people with no food at all feel like everyday, and yet some of us still throwing food away when we are full which eventually leads to abundant of food waste.
That's why we should always be thankful to Him for His blessings upon us, our family and friends. Allah has put life in you to worship and praise Him only not to be taken by this world we will leave pretty soon. Let's not forget about the little things. So give thanks to Allah and praise Him every single day that you live.
